If you'd gotten this in Mech 4, along with the Firefly and Champion of the same pack, you would've had the entire roster of the original Mech 3. Add a Clint IIC and you'd have Pirate's Moon, too!

My brother's a huge fan of the Orion. It's easily his favorite mech (got him through a few tough fights in MW3 and he's sworn by it ever since). So, I've gotta ask, is there any chance of this ending up in MW4: Mercenaries as part of a later mekpak?

Nicely done and the orion was always one of my favourite mechs, love his power.
He was also piloted by Alexandr Kerensky which makes him even more awesome

My favorite part about the 'mech (in MW3 particularly) is the antennas. Makes it look like a humanoid beetle or something.

You are correct except for one fact, Smith and Tinker are in a legal battle with harmony gold over the warhammer and a possible few other mechs. The warhammer along with 20 other original battlemechs are harmony gold property as FASA found out in the early 90's. I hope they work something out.

ah, well this goes back to harmony gold, their series Macross/Robotech, one of the alien races that starts as an enemy and becomes an ally is the zentradi who's most well known mecha unit is a battlepod. You've seen one before if you've seen the Battletech Ostsol or ostroc. It looks a bit like that minus the arms.
