Well, maybe not, but this is the best compromise in my opinion. This deviation was not something I planned on doing. It just sorta happened. I tried a render and it turned out nice, but I didn't do anything with it for a while. Then I just put a random background on it and slapped the logo to the mix.
And I saw that it was good.
Or at least good enough to upload here. Hopefully this will grace your desktop for a while.
In case you're wondering, it's the MekTek.net logo I turned into a vector version while back.

Probably the Tomahawk. Just because mechs in anime are always ridiculously nimble and carry crazy firepower. Exactly why I dislike japanese mecha.

Although, the Combat Armor from Fang of the Sun Dougram don't look as powerful as their Battletech counterparts (being more tone down with the super weapons, and limited operating time), but anime at that time was cool for going for such realism - I really miss that! Well, I guess I will have to make do with stuff akin to G Gundam!
