The color was fun. I did them gray scale and then just played with different combos until something worked in a colorize layer.

wow, that coloring is intense. it has this sort of lumonisity and spontaneity, kind of reminds me of *liquidxlead , i dunno if you know him. but this goes more into detail which is really awesome.

It looks pretty good, but a tad...unfinished. Not to worry though, not like it needs much, it's just that the white background isn't helping this image to really pop. Here's why.
In front you have a very...dynamic character. Complimenting her is a strong arched pose, and above all, a great amount of color. So you have the character splashed in color, with strong highlights, excellent shadows, and a consistent alignment of the two. So the foreground; very lively with color and flow.
The background, though, is working against all this great work. Even if it was just a very subtle tone, with an appropriate splash of yellow and blue in accordance to the highlighting and shadow of the character, just to put them in some sort of an environment that reflects the same lighting scheme as that which is reflected on the foreground. It doesn't even need to be inundated with details, it can just be a flat background, much like what you did for the GIJoe picture. Something simple, subtle, but reflective of the lighting that the characters are in.
It looks absolutely wonderful, but it's just alllmost there in my opinion.
