i personally don't understand how people can compare actual abuse and paedophilia to, what many is, a coping mechanism. how could such an innocent thing as cgl be wrong when it is essentially a relationship purely based on love, trust and hope? it makes me sad to see so much hate directed towards such a loving and accepting community.
as a side note, i would like to add that it is nobody's business what consenting adults of legal age decide to do in their own private time. if they want to tell the world, it's their own fault for putting themselves in the way of imminent backlash, but it does not mean everyone can just decide what you like to do or have done to you. masochism and sadism exist, but nobody seems to want to pay attention to that and instead decide to focus on the pure assumption that all ddlg+ relationships are just sexual roleplays based off of a parent abusing their child; that all dd+ are paedophiles and that all lg+ are just people who like the idea of children being raped or whatever.
let these people have their fun time in bed, let them use coping mechanisms, let them. are they breaking any laws by having sex with consenting people of legal age? are they breaking any laws by just finding comfort in calling someone "mommy" or "daddy" because they feel safe with them? are they breaking any laws for liking what they like?

I honestly got death threats and rape threats and harassed for months by age play ddlg bashers and I'm not even an age player! I'm 15 (16 in 3 weeks) and I regress because it helps me heal from childhood abuse. My boyfriend is my age and understands and he fucking spoils me, it's been a really healthy experience to be able to experience GOOD treatment from a guy. Honestly, I'm regressive because of trauma-and my daddy knows that and is perfectly chill. I'm 16 in 3 weeks, and he's a year younger but like...he's huge lol.. point is, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be taken care of and whatnot.
