I think they jacked up the price due to the recent popularity.

I figure it would be jacked up if it's one of the more popular Beanies. I might take advantage of any sold as a "group" special. Other-wise, I guess I'll just have to wait until the thrift store I volunteer at gets lucky and has another bunch of Beanies come it. A big box of them actually came in one day, with a bunch of good ones, and I managed to buy a beautifulΒ Neon seahorse, and a pretty butterfly one I was less familiar with but loved its bright colors.
