Description
It's tradition for girls to give chocolate cookies to guys they like on a certain day. This being the day known as Valentines Day for certain countries. And therefor this Princess wished to give some to someone she loves.

She had baked them earlier that morning and placed them into a box. Tying the red ribbon up herself, as it was a gift. She then hurried off to find him. As she wanted him to get his gift today, since she was late.

Kazumi, the princess, had indeed find the one she was searching for. In the park reading, once again, The Thing on the Doorstep. He smiled knowingly as he knew that she was going to come over to him. She did do just that; she also smiled, as he placed the book mark at where he was.

"David! I was hoping to find you here," Kazumi greeted, holding her gift.

"Hello there Kazumi," David smiles. "And you were?"

"Mhm, I have something for you," she responded and then presented him the present. "This is for you, I know I'm a bit late, however, I want you to have it."

"Ah, thank-you."

He took the box, noticing the blush on her cheeks, and undid the ribbon and opened it up. Seeing the hand baked chocolate cookies that was inside of it. Each a heart shape and they certainly smelled delicious. However, one thing did strike him as odd. Why would she bake those for him?

"These cookies look and smell delicious Kazumi. However, why did you bake them for me?" he asked.

"Well, Valentines Day has passed and it was meant for that, since today is the twenty fifth."

"Yes, however, Valentines Day, I'm sorry to say, is in February. This is January," he says to her, not unkindly though.

"Oh my!" Kazumi blushed moreso and before he could reassure her it was okay. She had ran off; feeling embarrassed about it, and yelling her apology to him.

David smiled a bit as he picked up a cookie from the box. He bit into it and liked the flavours that the cookie had given him. Although it wasn't that of a pastry chef's standards. It was still made with love and tasted good.

He then went back to his book, opened it up to begin to read it again. He'll see her again, being a seer really helped to know that, and tell her that it was no big deal that the mistake happened. However, for now he would enjoy the chocolate, love filled cookies and his book.
