Description
Her feet pounded against the grass in her nice dress shoes. As her regal gown, normally worn for balls, was now getting muddy and torn from the running. Her left hand held onto the brown wool cloak to keep her body dry from the pouring rain. Knowing full well that if it touched her, she would change back to her real form.However, even with that knowledge, she had to keep running from her pursuers. As they were close to her current position. One little trip, one little mistake and it would all be over for her.
Although the night started off nicely, it had changed into a nightmare very quickly. And all Kake could do now was to run. Run and pray that she'll see the dawn.

The girl ran right past her, but now Kake could see what she looked like. Young, raincoat on, Pink Hair, ...yet she was also crying...

Kake would normally stop, but with people trying to capture her. That option would be impossible to do, since those people were getting closer to the Mermaid Empress.

The little girl accidentally bumped into the people that we're chasing after her. He or They didn't really liked it, so they shoved her out of the way. She slipped on some mud & fell, it looked like she wasn't getting back up...

Noka isn't evil, he's dark and done evil things thanks to his dad, but not evil.

Kake kept running still, trying a zigzag pattern now, which somehow got her to turn around at one point. She doesn't know how it worked, but it did. However, her pursuers were still hot on her trail.

The young girl wasn't paying attention to what was happening to kake, but her feet changed to a blue mermaid tail. Then she looked over & saw Kake being pursued. As much as she hated to do this, wings came out of her back, tearing the back of her raincoat... but not entirely. She flew into the air & pounced on the pursuers.

I'd think that while the situation is scary, wouldn't merfolk that revert to their mer-forms upon contact with water train for such a situation, like build up upper body strength to help drag themselves, or see if they can hobble on their tails like some kind fishy Tigger. I know I would have if I were her...
Would this mean a technophile mermaid that transformed with contact with water would be an aquaphobe? I mean, they can't live in the ocean because smart phones and computers short out in the ocean, and rain would hold you hostage if you lived in a city...
In the end, all I can for the Empress is just keep running...

Not if they lived in water for all of it. And the cloak does keep the water off of the body.
Um, not sure. I know she isn't afraid of water. But when you're running, it's best not to get hit by it. Although that would be a neat idea for a merperson OC.

Here's how it works: I have three revolvers with me. One of them has a bullet in it. I am going to pull the trigger 6 times. You win, then you get to live another day. You loose, then... well, your bullet gets added to my trophy necklace.
*I pulled down my shirt collar to reveal a necklace underneath. It had 3 bullet casings. Each representing the kills I got. I picked up one*
...this was Zen's bullet. He was a tough fucker, I admit, but bullets can stop even the strongest of men.
*I picked up the other*
Keba's bullet. Not as tough as Zen, but she was a worthy target.

...and Niki's. This bounty was pretty boring, seeing as how she didn't bother to fight back...
