For the "Sounds of Nature" contest held byI love the sounds that acompany storms- especially in Oklahoma- I was just waiting for something to drop from the sky- I guess fortunatly for the little mobil home- all be got was the rain- and of course all the thunder that goes with it!

yeah, it's mostly really hot here.. like 90 degrees and at the end of the day there's a REALLY BIG thunderstorm! I love it!

absolutly stunning!! unfortunatly just after the picture was taken the aliens came through the clouds and burnt everything to the ground. you know, just of a laugh.

Looking at this shot, I can almost feel the swirling, churning movement of the wind...and hear its increasing howl. There is a slight sense of vertigo as well...how am I witnessing this sky? Am I swept up within it? But no...enveloped in the darkness at the bottom of the frame, I see the mobile home. It appears small and fragile against the raging tempest sure to come. But at least it is on the ground, giving me a sense that I am grounded as well...for now.
