Listening to: "Hakuna Matata"First carve of 2011, and it felt like it. I had to re-learn a lot of things doing this one. 4 hours carving, not including the 3 hours I spent trying to salvage another pumpkin that had started to rot and ultimately fell apart while I worked on it.

Before I moved back to my hometown, a coworker of mine had a family event every halloween. They called it The Pumpkin Toss. They were an irish family, with homeschool kids, and this GORGEOUS period home, and the men would build a catapult, and everyone attentding was asked to bring a pumpkin they had carved for a contest. It was freaking awesome. And we tossed the pumpkins at the end (if we wanted). This brings back memories of all the cool things I saw there. You would have won every year!!!
