I'm so so glad you like it! it's the least I can do for a big inspiration of mine (I'm not kidding, I'd watch your old animations to motivate myself sometimes).
And thanks, the backgrounds is a lot of things... I mainly just colored it green, black, and white, then, I used a photoshop effect that makes it look like stain glass, THEN, I used another effect that makes it have a motion blur. glad you like!
