I got a few Skillet CDs for Christmas this year and as I was listening to their album "Awake" I got the sudden urge to draw, so I did a sort of inspirational piece. I drew my iPod nano with their song "Awake and Alive" playing, which is now one of my favorite songs, and I wrote lyrics from a few of their songs around the drawings. There's a drum set, a rose, a piano, guitar, lightning bolts, hearts, music notes, a band-aid, clouds... pretty much anything to make this look cool. lol. I tried focusing a lot on shading with this and I'm actually really glad with the way this turned out. I noticed something about my artwork: Whenever you look at it from really far away, it's totally awesome. When you look at it full sized, it's crap. Hope you like this! And if you haven't listened to the band "Skillet" I suggest you listen to them. They're simply amazing!
