So I wanted to draw the three main characters of Cornelia Funke's "Mirrorworld" series. Last one! They are amaaaazing. So good. I am hoping some day there will be a fourth book, too many things have been unanswered. Too bad if she ever does write another one, I'll have to wait till it's translated into English. Or learn German.
Yup. This is Will. Jacob's younger brother. Yup.

There will definitely be a fourth book, but I'm afraid that will take a looooong time (I couldn't even find a release date for the German book). But anyway, your artwork is great! He looks exactly how I imagined Will.

The first book is: Reckless, the second: Fearless, and the third is: The Golden Yarn. The first two books are getting makeovers soon though. New covers and new titles with a new publisher, they'll then be called, "Petrified Flesh" and "Living Shadows". Super excited. The whole series is either referred to as "Mirrorworld" or "Reckless". Yup. And they're by Cornelia Funke.

Yeah, he's been infected by a stone disease. Eventually, it'll turn him into a race called the "Goyl". Really fierce and warlike people.

Well, if you like the Grimm's fairytales, you'll probably like these. They're dark with cool plots that have no "chosen one" clichΓ© or other mainstream plot devices. I really think the characters are very well rounded with lots of different angles. The bad guys are given perspectives too, making them seem more human. It really is well written.

Nope! There is a very slight hint of it, but it's such a background thing I had to think hard to remember whether there was or not.
