I guess this artist was the most prominent in my life as he actually pushed me to learn how to play guitar. I was like, "this song (smell like teen spirit) is just sooo cool! I wanna play it!" And before I could play it I had to learn how to play guitar of course..

For the story, if I'm right, "Smell Like Teen Spirit" was named after a friend of cobain's girlfriend wrote on the appartment wall this phrase. And it was refering to a deodorant. Kurt mistook this phrase for something more deeper like "A nous la liberté" (french) "liberty for us" or something like that. But when kurt knew it was named after a deodorant he was upset, but decided to keep the name anyway.
