Description
Despite loads of work I needed to do, I agreed to do an online OpenCanvas session with Keihound to try to help her get inspired to draw. She was going on about the new Alice in Wonderland film and how she liked the Cheshire Cat... so I decided I'd revive my old Cheshire design to doodle during the session.

I was barely able to finish inking this before she had to leave and closed the session...an hour and a half later. Gah. I need to work on my sketching skills badly. Sadly, did not turn out as creepy as I intended, either.

Random technical ramble: Since drawing lineart in the online version of OC results in the linart on the same layer as the white background, finishing this and making it look remotely decent was a massive challenge for me (I usually do all of my work start to finish in Photoshop). I ended up using multiply to put the colour onto the layers, another multiply for the shading, and a soft light layer for the highlights. Then I used the 'select colour range' to select the black outlines off of the white area to colour most of them a dark purple. Not great, but better than all black outlines.
