Okay. First: This is not meant to be taken seriously.
I'm speaking of the Hetalia characters here, not the actual countries, okay?
Well, so I played a little Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 over at a friends' place and... yeah.
I just find it funny that there seem to be quite some games (and movies) in which America gets invaded by Russia.
I'm sure there are even more than the ones I've drawn here.
Okay, so, speaking of America in Hetalia terms he's quiet yound, energetic and a little playful. And he has power. A lot. A. LOT. Give a lot of Power to someone who is still young and rather inexperienced and... yeah. I think maybe he saw a worthy opponent in Russia. Someone just as scary and powerful as him.
Yes. There was more I wanted to write about that but I forgot it OTL
I just think that Russia is kinda one of his favourite villains. Even nowadays (only one of the five games I depicted above plays in modern times, though)
Hahaha, this is actually one of my favourite pairings but I can't draw Alfred to save my life x'D Else I would draw them more often.
On the pic or comic or whatever: LOL, IDEK, THIS TOOK ME FUCKING HOURS ARGH! I WILL NEVER DRAW FUCKING LITTLE GAME COVERS EVER AGAIN HAHAHAHA FUCK DAFSDADF.
I'm also very sorry about the varying quality concerning the panels. I just wanted to get this thing done OTL
Alfred plays MW2. I will get the game next year from my friend because I don't want to buy it since the campaign is only about 4-5 hours long, WTF
In my head canon, Ivan is amazing at Strategy games (I blame chess xD) while Alfred is kickin' at First Person Shooters. That's why Ivan had to take rather...unusual measures to play through the game on veteran mode (Which is really, really, REALLY hard) first. I wonder if he will make it before Alfred calms down lol.
LAME STORY IS LAME
I really recommend the Soundtracks of these games btw. They are all sorts of epic. (just listen to this [link] and imagine Washington DC all destroyed in ruins. Gave me goosebumps, hoh boy...)
