Description
As a challenge for myself I'm going to try to draw all the Rito characters from botw since they are all really difficult for me but fun to draw. I figured I'd redraw this NPC Rito design since my old one was very boring with the stance haha. That one took like 10 hours or such, and I made this one in around 7 hours total. So it's nice to see that I've improved in that sense. All my newer artworks have hand drawn lines, whereas my older ones are with the lineart tool. I kinda like the hand drawn style better. Sometimes it takes longer, but it's well worth it!Next I'll probably draw Revali haha. We'll see how that goes.

the rito models are indeed detailed, but most of them are reused(most rito npcs looks very similar to each other).
i've noticed that while lorewise they are able to fly during gameplay they seems to be unable to do so(outside of cutscenes or scripted sequences/events) that's probably because the rito npc has the same scripts as any other npc.

Yeah they have to reuse a lot of their NPC assets to save time I guess for other things. I think Revali said in his diary that the Rito can’t fly unless they’re assisted by a strong gust of wind or an updraft

i think that he meant to say that they can't suddently reach very high altitudes without aid, but i think if it's something small they should be fine, they could have made different beaks to make the rito npc look more "unique" but since they are a somewhat rare race i guess they didn't want to put much effort in it.
