Introducing Team Wires, the antagonistic team for Pokemon Circuit. They're working under the direction of Susanna to get Cantessy to focus more on rapid technological progress, and if some people who are slower to catch up just so happen to be left behind by their actions then so be it. Aside from the standard "bad guy 'mons" they tend to use electric, steel, and fire-types, stuff more frequently associated with technology, as well as some of the more inorganic "inanimate object" 'mons.

If you think you recognize the admins on the far left and far right of this grouping, unfortunately you would be right, and now you know why I got a "bad feeling" when talking about some of the Gym Leaders. In Pokemon Circuit, instead of being Gym Leaders like they are in Plow, Colonel Hicks from corwains and Simon from Lexville are admins of Team Wires. They have their reasons for joining this organization. Colonel Hicks wants to make sure that his superiority in the chicken restaurant business remains for as long as possible, and to keep his restaurant on top he feels he needs to keep a technological advantage. (This detail was inspired by real-world events; Colonel Sanders' chicken got started by the use of special pressure cookers.) Simon's reason for joining is much less self-serving: he greatly admires the head of Lexville's Morgenstern Planetarium and former Gym Leader of Lexville, Cypress, and he feels that if technology had been more advanced at the time he had his accident then he might not have been paralyzed. Not only that, but so many other people in not just Cantessy, but across the entire world could be benefitted from more advanced medical technology. After all, he's already heard of how Susanna's life was basically saved by an experimental medical procedure. And maybe more advanced medical procedures could have saved someone closer to him than anyone else could have been...
