A random idea I had, possibly partially inspired by at least one fanfic I've read. After the end of Super Paper Mario, Dimentio ends up in the Underwhere (because, y'know, he freaking DIED) and because he's such a danger to the universe he gets thrown in the jail. Needed an excuse to try and figure out how to draw chains before getting heavy into The Blackthorne Shade anyway, just in case for chapter illustrations.

The jewel on the chain clasp (what's it called?) generated the box around his hands and blocks all of his magic, and while my interpretation of Dimentio needs to have access to at least the smallest bit of his magic to have use of his hands or even eat and breathe, he's dead here so that doesn't matter in this case. His mask is gone because that's representative of the "piece" he left behind to keep the Chaos Heart active, and as for why there's blood...well, let's just say there was an incident when he tried to persuade one of the more incompetent D-men into freeing him, and the others decided to make damn well sure that wasn't going to happen again. Yeah. Not explaining any further, you'll figure it out if you zoom in and squint.
