Speaking of fluffy stuff...is it weird that I'm considering pairing up Potato and Calypso? I mean, Potato's ace (though her part of the flowers pic at least implies she has romantic attractions) and the Theia counterpart of Cally is bi, but I feel she would respect Potato's asexuality if they were in a romantic relationship.

I'd have to find a way to justify it, of course, since at the beginning of Synchronicity they're either strangers or vague classmate acquaintances depending on how I end up working the post-prologue story intro. (in that regard, Coral and Crimson hooked up a couple months before the post-prologue so there's my justification for them

Yeah, he's pretty great. The Mario RPGs pre-Sticker Star always had the best characters.

Yeah, then they decided to replace all the wonderful diverse characters with ten jillion Toads. Like, the original Paper Mario had Bowser as the villain and it still had a good story.
