Running through the field,
free to roam.
Hearts gone wild,
no boundaries nor ties.
She prances through,
going to the abyss.
Then stops,
Sees,
Cries.
The roar of her voice,
rumbling through that jagged fence.
No freedom.
No choice.
No chance to be.
The world gone wicked,
to stay in that cage.
A bird sings out,
Too far away.
