Name: Tobias (Toby) Smash

Hometown: Oreburgh City, Sinnoh
Personality: Toby is pretty scared of everything. He hides behind his giant masculine dinosaur Pokemon in fear of everyone else around him. As he grew older he realized his fears were getting the best of him and he started to force himself into the world, though it seems to just be making him more terrified of the unknown things he's been running into in the wide world. Though at least he has his Pokemon friends to protect him and keep pushing him towards his goals of bettering himself. He doesn't really work well with others, because he's scared of them, though he can warm up a bit if they are kind and will work with them if he has to. He loves to spend time in the underground, where he got an Old Amber and a Skull fossil. Luckily there was a museum nearby that would revive them...

History: Toby's Mother scared Toby to death growing up. She was a bit nuts and was convinced all the Pokemon gang teams were always at their front step. She always told Toby never to go out alone and that EVERYONE was out to get him. Basically the things his mother told him were what sparked his fears of the world. She gave him a Gible when he was young, and told him, “Take care of it, it will grow strong and protect you when I'm gone.” She died at a pretty young age ( Probably from all the stress and worry :[ ) and he was on his own, taken care of by his three Pokemon. He decided to go out into the world and try to get over his fears, leading him to tournaments and contests he forced himself into.

Nature: Gentle
Battle style: She is a physical sweeper. Tries to take out Pokemon quickly as possible and use few attacks.
Athletic stat: Jump

Other info: Sophia, or Sophie, is a motherly figure to Toby since his mother died. She's always out of her Pokeball and around him, comforting him and being overprotective towards strangers. She easily calms him down when he's scared. He revived her from an Old Amber he got from the underground shortly before his mother died.

Nature: Rash
Battle style: Offensive, rushes into things without thought. Tries to be tough and pretend he's not hurt when he is.

Other info: Borris tends to be grumpy. He is easily infuriated by Fred, Toby's Garchomp, but gets along well with Sophie, Toby's Aerodactyl. He's pretty quiet most of the time and steams to himself when things happen, but always protects Toby like Spohie would.

Battle style: Plays with the opponent to lull them into a false sense of security. Then attacks.

Other info: Fred is... Special. He's the Gible that Toby's mother gave him, but his personality never matured as his body did. Basically he is a giant, scaly, dangerous puppy. His tongue is almost always hanging out of his mouth and he has a dopy expression on his face. He loves Toby to death, and his hobbies include chasing smaller Pokemon for fun, and rolling around in dirt.
