whats the point to putting that effect on it. ive seen you do it with other pictures and you seem to just get rid of it in the final copy anyways.

Mostly because it hides the really rough hatching that would look awful if not blurred. moreover it gives the idea of a still undefined concept, that I usually complete only in the lineart
Anyways if the sketch (or Wip) is quite nice by itself I prefer not to use that escamotage
