Thank you in advance for any comments and Faves. I try to respond to all comments but apologies if i do not respond to a fave. Please know that they are much appreciated.


With this image, I used manual focus, and focused the camera to about 10 inches away from the camera. This left the background out of focus, but when using flash, the falling snow in front of the camera lit up very bright, and surprisingly was pretty well in focus. I'm really happy with the way this image turned out!

Thank you so much! I actually found this out on accident, and decided to experiment. I only took one shot, and this is it. I'm just glad it turned out halfway in focus to the front snowflakes. Β

Believe it or not we've had about 10 inches of snow in Southern United States in the past 2 weeks. It's been incredible, more snow than we've ever had since I've been here. After being stuck in the house for about 2 weeks from the roads being closed and only able to get out a few days a week, you tend to build up some cabin fever. But, nonetheless, it's been incredibly fun, and I have plenty of pictures to upload! Β

I use a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. It's a nice starter camera, and works very well for me. If you're interested in more specs of this image, you can find them on the right tab, under the Featured in Groups tab. All the information is at the bottom right of this page. Β
