All Eyes represent me as a child. I never had toys as a child. My family was very poor. We escaped from Cuba to come to the United States for a better life. I was showered with gifts when we arrived. To this day, letting go of toys is a big emotional task. Though out the years, I have kept a lot of my toys. They all have a sentimental value to me. The part of my childhood that I never could afford.

Let me start off by saying that it took A LONG TIME TO PUT ALL THIS TOGETHER. I took books from all over the place, toys, stuffed animals, etc, arranged them, and TADA. I used my sisters room for this picture. I used various light sources.. from flash strobe, lamp light, and small flashlights to light up certain areas of the picture. All one big mixture of lights. I used homemade colored gels to get certain colors to fill up certain parts of the room with the lighting.
