After many months
I FINALLY GOT TO DRAW THIS
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

"So, in case you guys are more new around here, ever since my first year on this website, I have contributed to the internet holiday "HAG Day!" aka Hug A Giant Day; it's a holiday where we celebrate the our love we have for giants by drawing a tiny/regular sized person hugging their regular/giant sized person. It has always been a fun excuse for me to draw this since I like drawing giants and stuff. And espeically since I missed last year's HAG Day due to...reasons (aka I ended up writing a fanfic around the same time and therefore had no time to draw anything for it, despite it funnily enough being a giant tiny fanfic)
But now I've had time...sadly...I decided to go back to my traditional method of this holiday by drawing two pics for it; one featuring a version of my IRL boyfriend and another focused on a hubby who I would be hyperfixating on around the time."

And yep of course
this was long expected for me

Now, since it's been a while, I wanted to draw some fan art based on the more spoilery aspects of the movie with my self ship and this was number one on the priority. So, after Mario and Luigi defeat Bowser; the king of koopas begs for a second chance from Peach for their "relationship", only to be denied and punished by being force fed a mini mushroom and shrunk to a tiny size; imprisoned in a cage at Peach's castle.
This lead me to remaking my mario movie oc's origin with her relationship to bowser but for now, I just HAD to draw these two for HAG Day since I did draw these two A LOT back in March/April for the OTP 30 Day Challenge soooooooo yep

Now, you can pretend this takes place during their growing relationship as Kathryn had started to volunteer in taking care of the monster; delivering his food and making sure he's entertained so he doesn't try and escape. During this, Kathryn knew Bowser still had feelings for Peach which did hurt, but she hid her pain under a smile. But in this point of their relationship, Kathryn wanted to show her trust in Bowser by promising him that if he behaves, she'll let him out the cage to give him some time to stretch his legs and get some excerise. After Bowser finally got to let out some steam, happy seeing her crush in a better state; Kathryn scooped up Bowser as he chilled out which is when Kathryn finally decided to use this chance to let out her emotions and gave Bowser a quick kiss on the side of his face; resulting in the Koopa King getting surprised and flustered as this is the first time he got a genuine kiss, making him realise that maybe his true love wasn't a blonde princess; but a royal hairstylist and artist.
