*on the night of the Manson's gala event*Pam: *walking through the newly painted ballroom* -Ohh, everything is just beautiful Harvey. You've really done a fine job tonight!
Harvey: *standing next to her as they speak* Heh, anytime m'am. Just did my job as you told me to.
Pam: *turns to look at him* -I'm also pleased to see you've actually picked out something presentable to wear tonight. Didn't think you had it in you
Harvey: Heh, hey now give me some credit *chuckles* I always make sure to bring this suit with me in the case I get hired by a richer client. Been of good service to me for the past couple of years.
Pam: Oh my, THAT long of wearing the same suit? *raises brow* Why ever don't you think of buying another one?
Harvey: *shrugs* Do I have to? Besides, I got better ways of spending my money, like on newer paint, masks, other tools-
Pam: -But what about you, Harvey? If you make good fortune then it's not a crime to spoil yourself now and then.
Harvey: *just casually shrugs again*
Pam: ....*sighs* You artists and your simple tastes. Well, I should probably go meet with the guests for n- *pauses as she notices somethin on Harvey* Oh, hold on a second. *moves in closer*
Harvey: -What?
Pam: Your tie, it's loose. *gently pulls it out as she adjusts it more properly*
Harvey: Erm, thanks. *just stands there as she helps him, then he clears his throat* ...you know, you don't look half-bad yourself.
Pam: *pauses* O-oh, well...thank you, Harvey *blushes*
Harvey: No problem *smirks a bit*
Pam: ...what's so funny?
Harvey: Heh, well... now you know I don't have "simple tastes" *winks*
Pam: *blushes more, now wide-eyed* I-I...erm... *shakes herself back to reality* -Ohh, stop fooling around Harvey! *narrows her eyes* The guests are waiting to see you now so let's just go already! *ushers him out the room*
Harvey: Haha, alright alright. Whatever you say, m'am *playfully rolls his eyes, still smiling as he lets her push him to the crowds*

Jennifer: -Look Jeremy, all I'm saying is that you should be keeping a closer eye on Pamela. She's been acting VERY strange lately.
Jeremy: *sipping some wine* -You've been saying that since I first met her, Jenny. What makes this time any different?
Jennifer: Hm, well... have you noticed the way she's been speaking with that spray-painter fellow... the one with the scary disposition?
Jeremy: Who, Harvey?
Jennifer: Mmhm... they sure look awfully "cozy" together, don't they? *points the two out in the crowd of people*
Jeremy: ....your point? *sips his wine*
Jennifer: -Wait, you're not the least bit concerned? ...At all? *raises brow*
Jeremy: *sighs* Look, Pamela is my wife... not my "slave". If she wants to interact with someone outside her social group, she can. It's not in my right to interfere, and Harvey hasn't given any of us trouble since he got here. *takes another sip*
Jennifer: Pfft, you serious? *crosses arms*
Jeremy: *nods* ...besides, even if there "was" something happening... then it's Pamela's own responsibility to not let it leak to the public. We DO have an image to keep up, after all.
Jennifer: *groans* you're always so "understanding", little brother. When will you ever get a backbone? *rolls eyes*
Jeremy: The same time you can learn to stop being so nosy and get a life *sips his wine*
Jennifer: *shockingly gawks at him, offended by his words*

More Pamarvey for those interested
here we get to where the Mansons finally have their fancy gala event and Harvey is there to be introduced as the artist who helped set up all the beautiful wall art decor. There, Harvey and Pam have a little moment as they ready themselves behind the scenes, having a little chit-chat and complimenting eachother on their looks. Though Pam may not admit to it at the moment, she's really starting to feel something... special with her and Harvey. How they can just speak to one another so naturally without any qualms, even in spite of how "different" they are. Yet, being Pam she again pushes down such feelings and just encourages Harvey to go enjoy the evening.Meanwhile, Jeremy has a talk with his twin sis Jennifer, who's trying to get back at Harvey not noticing her by trying to paint him in a bad light in front of Pam's own husband. To her surprise though, Jeremy's not only dismissive of her but he's also not at all concerned about Pam potentially starting something special with Harvey. Since he and Pam mainly just married the other for convenience (aka, more money, higher social status, etc.), Jeremy is okay with his wife having her own private life away from him... as long as it doesn't result in her getting into any trouble. Jennifer then mopes about not having her little "plan" come together... while Jeremy shrugs her off again and tells her to just mind her own damn business.

Ironically, Jeremy's sister was right about him needing to keep a closer eye on Pamela and Harvey. Though he is also right that if something were to happen, it would be Pamela's responsibility to resolve it. Another piece of irony is that by not getting involved while this affair was forming, Jeremy was partially responsible for Sam being conceived. As Clockwork in many fanfictions would say: All is as it should be.

Which is kind of weird to think that an affair born from a fan's personal head canon was a good thing as it led to the birth of a hero and earth avoiding destruction. That last part is a bit debatable due to a paradox involving said birth of a hero which led to Vlad's obsession extending to Danny which spiraled out of control and led to the Disasteroid.
Though now I can't help but wonder who thought firing what I am assuming were nuclear missiles at an asteroid that was on a direct course for earth? I remember a DP fan pointing out how much of a bad idea that would be in real life as the debris from an asteroid that was just nuked would still fall towards the earth, spreading nuclear radiation which would lead to a nuclear winter. With that in mind, Vlad sabotaging the missiles was ironically the one good deed he has ever done in the cartoon.
Granted I'm overthinking it, but I can't help but think about it and compare it to Char's Counterattack as that movie also involved an asteroid on a direct collision course for earth. The main differences between that and Phantom Planet was that the asteroid in Char's Counterattack was planned by the anti-villain of the movie while the Disasteroid was an accident that was kind of Vlad's fault. The other difference was that Char's Counterattack involved giant robots while Phantom Planet involved ghosts.

Well nobody really thinks about the Disasteroid for a number of reasons, mainly due to how poorly written it was and how it left several plot points ignored or abandoned. Another thing about the Disasteroid I thought about was an alternate way to getting rid of it was to alter its course before it reached earth's orbit, even if it was just by an inch. Granted by the time everyone noticed the Disasteroid it was too late. If they had noticed when the asteroid was within Jupiter's orbit, the people in the DP universe could have sent a team to the asteroid with explosives, plant them on one of the sides, detonate the explosive and would cause the asteroid to alter its course and would miss earth by an insane margin as the change in course would start off small but will gradually increase to the point where the asteroid would not be anywhere near earth, assuming there would be no other object that could alter its course back to earth.
Sadly this idea was never brought up by anyone, which is a shame because it would have been awesome if Danny realized this and managed to get everyone to listen to him. It would show that his dream of being an astronaut wasn't just some childish dream. Seriously, the boy can land a space shuttle with the only training he got from a video game simulator, so the idea that he studied anything revolving around space prior to getting his ghost powers cant' be that much of a stretch to believe.

Yeah it would have been, though the inspiration to that solution came from the manga Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 as it had a similar situation that was resolved that way. Granted the explosive was a 50 foot tall giant robot with its pilot doing a kamikaze run, but the result ended up saving the earth.
Strangely, I am finding a lot of solutions to the Disasteroid plot from quite a bit of Gundam sources. Kind of crazy how an anime franchise that I have a love/hate relationship with (I love the franchise but I hate several factions within the fandom) could come up with a solution to the finale of a mediocre cartoon that's potential was ruined by the executives of Nickelodeon.

I just thought of this xD but I can totally see jenny(who has known that Sam is Harvey kid since The beginning) offending pam by calling her a slut or something so pam and jenny have a small slap fight and in between they mention how Jeremy isn't Sam real father and they don't notice but Sam is listening to the whole conversation .......... xD ah idk just something I've probably seen happen in a novel lol it's just a theory but I can't wait to find out what really happens
