I'm not dead! Just recovering from a stressful semester and holiday season :,D
I will have a new page of TLON up today or tomorrow. Sorry for the hiatus, I just needed some time to reflect on some things and come up with concepts. I'll probably upload some of those sketches later too.
Sooo anyways! This is Pike, one of my most neglected characters! She is also one of my oldest characters and was apart of the original trio, back when TLON was "Ookami"... Unfortunately, I never gave her much of a personality other than "moody," so I never worked with her much. I really want to make her an integral part of the story again, so I've tried to add some complexity and depth to her personality. Also, seniors are just so fun to work with. I think her and Brooks make great friends.
Needless to say, as a college junior I have changed significantly from the 4th grader that first invented this story, and I found myself unhappy with a lot of the old designs and concepts. So time for an overhaul! The story is only being refined but the basic concept is still the same. A lot of the old characters will be redesigned and have their personalities tweaked. Also, after working with wolves firsthand, my art style has changed a bit too. The scene dog-esque style was fun, but I personally feel it's time to pay better respect to real wolves and portray them as they are, not as a romanticized version. These animals have taught me so much and I really don't like the silly add-ons like emo hair, ridiculous markings, blue eyes, etc. any longer. So expect slightly more realistic wolves from now on. Of course, I will retain a lot of elements from my older style, but not to the point where they are unrecognizable from real wolves.

I will most likely put the old designs up for adoption later.
