night creeps across the skysilence envelops the land
air and water are stilled
awaiting the arrival of the
Silver Guardian
she rises above the mountains
with a golden brilliance
that slowly fades to a
milky radiance that
makes the ground glow
she watches over those who rest
her silent eyes see all
who pass under her gaze
she protects the night
with an unblinking stare
at her highest she shines
though this night comes
but once a month
she is cherished as
the Silver Guardian
