Just today, I had an idea much like this. I was thinking of what sort of scene I'd make for Shadow once I have learned to do more in Blender, and I came up with the idea of putting down the song "Hurt" by Johnny Cash. I know that song is fairly popular. but what strikes me about both our ideas--it was to put Shadow walking somewhere in a sad state, colored in black and white.
I saw Shadow facing us though, and he was in a city street, or maybe an alley. I had other ideas, like only highlighting the red on him. The expression that he had. . .Β I wasn't sure what I would do. I did see him pretty sad though. The kind of sad that keeps you from speaking, but maybe a slight smile. I had a few ideas. . . I can't remember all of them though. Too tired from working out of town. Once I learn UV mapping and texturing and get some of the good models I may do stuff like you have.
