I am SO happy with this. Finally.
The phoenix is meant to look like Fawkes, from Harry Potter. I hope he resembles him somewhat.
The phoenix actually belongs to the foal, they're partners of a kind. So he's not really Fawkes per se, just an imitation.
I painted over almost every part of the phoenix, and I painted a lot of highlights and shadows on the horse and background. So. Much. Work. x.X

My title would be 'Sweet Effigy' or if you want the whole lyric, 'Burn my Sweet Effigy'. Because this piece made be think of the song Fire by Kasbian.
