commision work forI may need to play with variation of wolf... But whenever i look at the real wolf for reference, they all looked the same.

All wolves kinda do look alike don't they but honestly just like with any dog of the same breed they still differences even if there minor

It also depends kind of on the art style, as you say if the art is very detail focused like every hair is picked out, yeah it's more important to distinguish, but for purple's art I like that you don't have to focus so much on if it's a red wolf or a Mexican wolf and can just appreciate the colors and expressions
