Well. Depending on the atmosphere created and if following the movie style strictly. kfp is a mix of kung fu panda comedy mostly. Okay, raining. Wuuhoooo... i like raining too.

Rain. Most definitely. Reduces overall visibility, minor sound dampening, decreases ground control by making rough surfaces slick and slick surfaces impossible. It can also induce sneezing in susceptible targets. Additionally, it can wash away any of that blood that you'd hate to see. A wound wound appear, then gently get wicked away by the water. Lastly--the rain creates a sense of calm, quiet reflection. At the end of a massive battle where there is only one side, or one person still standing, the rain isolates the roar of triumph and replaces it with a cold atmosphere of change, forcing the victor into a corner to think... "What comes next?". Lightning and Thunder also sometimes accompany rain allowing the weather to signify changes in the pacing and tone. Lightning strikes--high impact moment. Thunder clap--importance or added suspense. Heavier rain fall--struggle. Rain stopping--end of sequence. It's fun to watch the weather--although I believe rain is the most effective at getting a point across. You don't see snow doing that too often X3.
Also--awesome fight so far. I'm actually extremely surprised to see Po doing so well. I suppose whenever I depict Po, I allow him to feel more free and open in his decision making and only truly gets himself in the moment when this go from casual to serious. Whenever I portray him, he's perfectly aware that he can level anything he touches and rarely troubles himself with the thought of failure or poor performance--only when he actually starts to show an "F" in the grade book does he pick it up and show what he's made of. Although also--certain villains he fights against are also perfectly aware of his power... making his probability of success much much more slim than he's used to. He usually succeeds in the end, but I've got no problem hurting him or anyone else to show how serious the struggle truly was x3
Love the comic so far though man, I hope to see more soon. I know it's a hell of a work in progress though--but you're doing great!
