Yes he is one of my rescues (I currently have 7 crows)
I've had him coming up for 2 years now
Him and many others were shot by a gamekeeper from their nests just before they could fly, I rescued all the ones left with various injuries, Kael has a bad eye on the other side due to a bit of birdshot that hit his head and also a crippled wing where the birdshot also hit
He can never return to the wild, but lives a happy safe life with me

Really?!

so you have 7 crows....
wow...

they were shot right?
it's amazing and it's good they survived.
do you keep them in a cage....?

Yes I currently have 7, 5 of them were shot, 1 was found badly beaten up near death and another one was found fallen from a nest as a youngster

5 live outside with beds and outdoor areas they can go in, 2 live in the house in a large parrot cage, though they sometimes go outside to a pen in the day

Sadly many of the shot ones didnt make it, I reported the people who did it to the SSPCA and the police, but sadly no action was taken, nobody seems to care about crows as they are classed as vermin

Damn stuff like this makes me so angry!

I just want to give you a massive accross-the-internet hug for doing what you did.

And I love your crow pictures, they are all so majestic.

that's too bad.

it's a good thing you were able to keep them.
do you name them?

i didn't know crows are classed are vermins.
i thought they were protected, i mean in japan i THINK they have a law that forbids hurting crows.....
i don't know, maybe i was just mistaken.

why did they do it anyway?
do you think it was just for a hunting game or they were just anti-crow people since they classify crows as Vermin.....

well whatever.
some of them were just BABY CROWS!
