You didn't possibly think I wouldn't draw Gerudo Link, did you? XDI also really love the Rito head-piece, so I wanted to draw a picture of Link wearing that. I thought it would go well with the default outfit, so that's what I wanted to draw.

I loved wearing the whole Rito armour set actually, it was one of my favourites in the game.
I used to just go up to the Gerudos guarding Gerudo Town in regular clothes, and literally change right in front of them and they still let me in, like what XD or climbing on the roof and changing back into male clothes and instantly got kicked out, like how did they even know I was up there it's not like there was anyone else up there... I love exploiting the logic in this game XD
I remember playing OoT back when I was a kid and never understanding why the Gerudos always threw me in the dungeon, thus I always thought Gerudos were just really rude until I learned more about their culture as grew older and realised just how awesome they were. Plus I always loved the track for Gerudo Valley from OoT so that probably helped a bit there as well.

Hehehhe, same here. I didn't quite get the nuances of the Gerudos until I was older. I understood that they were throwing me out because Link is a boy, because I knew of stuff like the Amazons and all, so I figured they were like that, an all girl society. But I never really thought more intricately into it, I still thought they were quite rude. XD As an adult, I now know just how cool they are.

I haven't played the game myself yet, but from let's plays and online posts I've seen it seems like the Gerudo women go out to find husbands. I remember seeing screenshots of a scene where you walk into a Gerudo school of some kind and the teacher is trying to teach the women how to behave in order to get husbands. And I've also seen a little mini side-quest thing where you match make a Gerudo woman and a Hylian man, so they must marry out of their race. So I guess the Gerudo women keep any female children with them and the husbands take the sons? I'm not sure how they look the way they do then, though, since you'd think the race would be a lot more...Diverse and mixed-race looking if they marry Hylians and stuff?
