This shot has a lot of potential. I think that maybe doing it in color would have been better, and it would give you a lot more freedom with how you write the words and such. Also, for cropping in a photo, try to keep the edges away from joints, such as the wrist, knees, or elbows. By cropping right on those joints, it makes it look like you're body just stops there. And if you cropped a tad above the hand, it would also give you a lot of room for creativity with hand positions and stuff.
Lastly, you're expression is a tad too extreme, it almost looks scary. Try to make your expression softer, and maybe it will send a better message.

It was just something kinda random that I wanted to do for a friend when I was bored. I just thought that it looked kinda cool. I did it with my webcam too so I didn't have much room.
