Description Morning sun radiating over sand dunes at Cape Naturaliste. I really liked the randomness of the scattered, dead wood. The clear blue sky made for an awesome contrast against the tones of the sand and the lines that the shrubs provided worked well with everything.

Something a little different I hope?

RAW conversion done in C1. Bordering, framing and digital signature done in Photoshop CS.

Fantastic, and yes, those shades of blue are wonderful, as are the other colours. Very interesting tree too.

I agree with your description. Nice proportioning between the ground and the sky. Great detail and the sky is a magnificant color.

Excellent shot! I love dried drift-wood, and you're right - the shapes it creates are really great! Nice saturation, the blue sky is really intense and contrast well with the rich golden sand. The deep green tree line gives a nice shape to the horizon. The larger piece of driftwood reaches up from the sand into the sky, tying the whole image together. Really beautiful shot! I definitely like it!

Interesting shapes you've captured in the dead wood, the grain is awesome. The contrast between the deep blue of the sky and the sand, great capture!
