NAME Serendipity SonataMADE 16 Feb - 18 April 2010, watercolours
She was playing the violin part of a sonata in an old library of a manor. It was a notation she had found between an old book in the library. However, the music had a bizarre effect... The whole library floating, defying gravity and the books drifting around she found books full of secrets that had been hidden for decades...
I started this 16 February but time ran out and I had to stop. I didn't feel like continuing until 18 April. Even then I wouldn't have finished this if I hadn't wanted to paint certain other painting. Because I have only one board on which I can tape my paintings, and this one was currently taped on it, I decided to finish it so that I could rip it off the board and do the other painting
I hadn't the patience to finish this properly and the painting is so damn small that painting with watercolors was difficult and I had to use brushes of the size 0-4 almost all the time. I should just buy bigger paper and learn to draw bigger pics t_tSimilar by me:
