Description Thing I did yesterday, I wanted to doodle Kubo as something in the Spiritfarer world, so I did. Been playing that game a lot lately with the new update and it's an emotionally heavy game!
In this particular instance Kubo himself isn't deceased, but rather, accidentally finds himself in the realm of the game via his own magic. He's a demigod after all, and his celestial background gives him a lot of leeway whether he likes it or not. But, while he tries to find a way back home, Kubo fancies the opportunity to see if he can reunite with his parents, even if only temporarily.

I either see Kubo as a sika deer fawn or a little japanese sparrow, and this time I went with the latter for this interpretation. His spirit flower is the yellow camellia, and its situated over where his missing eye would be. In Hanakotoba, the yellow camellia is symbolic of longing; while still grieving over the loss of his parents, he longs for when he might get to see them again, and for some semblance of a normal childhood which he never really got to have.

He's a pescatarian and restricts himself from eating anything that is made from chicken, beef, pork, etc. but his favorite foods would probably be sweet things; ie. manju, fruit, along with anything that reminds him of home. Tells stories and plays his shamisen when he's in a good mood.
