The whole concept of the image is beautiful to behold, but the real power is in the eyes that are stunning in their intense depth of studying something off camera, counterpointed by the highlighter light upon the dress and beads.

It doesn't quite fit the flavor of my "Favorites", but this is easily one of the most gorgeous photos I've ever seen. Everything here is working at an apex. The model is stunning, the lighting is perfect, the outfit and styling is excellent, and the photographer captured the moment perfectly.

Sorry I would say if you have to do a several 100% close up to see the texture, and you can't see it at normal viewing distance, that you have in fact lost texture. I'm sorry if my opinion differs from yours.

Sure, but there wasn't much noticeable texture to begin with in the original, as you could see, especially not in this distance of the image. Don't be sorry!

I just enhanced her features. There are texture left in her skin, so no why it looks unnatural. Might be a question of taste. ^^ I like it retouched. thanks!
