Shoalclan is located across a stretch of forest that bumps up against a sandy cove. The camp is protected by a high wall, with limited access in and out and the ocean bordering the other side. The dens are all embedded in the cliff face, offering shelter and protection to the cats. The undergrowth in the forest is limited - it is a section that was badly ravaged by the fire that swept across the land years ago, and the land is only just beginning to recover. The cats who live here must rely on a combination of fish from the river and the limited food they can find in the sparse forest to support themselves.

The cats of Shoalclan are best known for being welcoming and tight-knit. They are loyal to their clan-mates, and allow anyone who will follow their laws and customs to join their clan. They are currently the smallest clan, and have to act tougher than they are in order to hold their own against the other clans. There is a wide variety of cats in this small clan due to their accepting nature.

This clan is the newest in the forest - it was created a moon ago, started by a small group of friends that shared a bond. They moved to the part of the forest that had been abandoned by the others, and began their new life.
