There are a lot of people in this world.

Some of them are really nice,

Some of them...
Not so much.

Sometimes you run across those people,

Those people that hate you,

For no reason.

And you wonder to yourself,

What did I ever do to them that makes them hate me?

You didn't do anything wrong.

You didn't say anything mean.

And you just can't figure out why it is they don't like you.

Its probably because of something completely unrelated to you.

Maybe they had a bad day,

Maybe they're dealing with things in their life,

Things that nobody can control.

Everybody feels that way sometimes.

Even you.

But... When you see that person who hates you,

And you look into their eyes.

You just can't help it but feel....
Like its your fault.

You try not to feel this way, but it just happens.

It happens all of a sudden, in a big tidal wave that you just cant control.

And then you're lost in it.

Stuck the middle of the ocean, just swaying back and fourth without a purpose.

Its lonely out there.

Your chest feels tight,

Your heart aches,

And all you want to do is curl up and sleep until somebody can come to rescue you.

Soon...
That somebody did come.

They shown like a beacon in the nights sky and lead your way ashore.

Nights passed, days flew by, and it felt like an eternity.

But eventually...
You reached the shore.

And standing on the rocky beaches,

Waiting...
Was the Star.
