Ivy Tamwood is a character from the book "DEAD WITCH WALKING" by Kim Harrison, the first of an ongoing series of books centered around Rachel Morgan, who is a witch and sort of a private investigator for hire. Ivy is Rachel's partner, the vampire half of their business "Vampiric Charms" and possible romantic interest for Rachel (who says she's straight but sure notices the hotness of Ivy an awful lot) -- Ivy is my fave character *^_^* in the books. Book two is "THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UNDEAD" which I have an Advance Reader Copy for, woo hoo!!! Well, except truly awful things happen to Ivy *weepy moonkitty sniffles* and she doesn't even get to make out with Rachel even a little, which would have made up for it some.Yah, I'm a Rachel/Ivy 'shipper. *^^* And if Rachel doesn't end up with Ivy, then I hope she ends up with Trent. Poor Ivy... I want to give her a cookie.

I'm at "White Witch, Black Curse" in the series and I really like Ivy. I want her and Rachel to work it out, but as of yet it hasn't *grr* I wish Rachel would just get over her apprention of blood lust is sex, but that still hasn't happened...
Lovely picture though, really brings out Ivy's persona.

I love it and Ivy! I have just finished with For a Few Demons More and it rocked! I agree that if Rachel doesn't end
up with Ivy I hope she's with Trent. That would be cool.

I love that series, i've read most of the books, i sorta started with book two, but it was easy to understand. Ivy's pretty awesome, but trent is so amazing.... along with jenks, and david, dunno if you know who he is.... but he's pretty coolio!

^_^ Yay! *waves Rachel/Ivy shipper flag* Even if I didn't usually pull for those types of ships, I'd definately ship these two. If not for the thrill, at least so that Ivy's feelings stay intact. *hugs* She's so sexy. *wolfish grin* But she's so fragile and broken beneath that rough, cold-as-ice exterior. Makes me want to put her in my pocket and keep her safe. *holds* (Read the fourth book yet??)
But, enough of that. I love this piece. The imposed moon, her cross... even added her owl (where did it ever get to, I wonder?). Definately love the leather trench. I've been itching to do a piece; maybe this was the inspiration I needed!!
