The guy here actually layed down on purpose. I remember a goosebumps story about a bunch of campers that were disappearing and the counselors acted like the missing kids never existed. Turns out *SPOILER ALERT* the kids were being made slaves to a big blob thing. If the kids stopped cleaning the blob, it would eat them. The main character gets all the kids to stop working and tells them to lay down. The blob couldnt get a grip on any of the kids to eat them and I think it died because the kids stopped cleaning it.

So this guy had the same idea: if you lay down, it cant pick you up. Well thats a bad idea here and a trex will be able to pick you up. The only one that might have trouble would be the bird variant, but he has other trex with him so one of those would get him up eventually. This guy tried the tactic on a land shark, and he probably wont get to do it again.
