Red dragon: "Hey, wanna try one?"
Black dragon: "No, no Im good."
"Come on, man! They taste really good! Well, you might want to dunk him in the fountain over there to get rid of all the chemicals they wear, but after that they are pretty good. Ive had two already."
"Nah, Ill pass."
"What? Going vegan? You know that a vegan dragon is the least scary thing on the planet."
"Im not a vegan. I eat cows and deer. I just dont want a human."
"Its not like we're driving them into extinction. There are probably millions of these morons, just walking around waiting to be devoured."
"No, you still havent convinced me."
*The red dragon's belly begins to twitch and move*
"Aww, man. That feels awesome."
"What?"
"One of them woke up in my belly. They're kicking around. You see, you eat them when they are asleep, so then they wake up and give your insides a good tickle."
"Why not just eat them when they are awake?"
"They waste all their energy struggling to get free, then they just give up when they reach the stomach."
"So the one you're holding isnt dead?"
"No, of course not! That would be a waste. Ive been holding these three all day: I locked them in a cage and waited for them to fall asleep. But I got bored waiting so I started throwing bones at them to see what they'd do. I must have thrown one a bit hard, cause it hit the guy and he was knocked out. I didnt care: I ate him, which caused the other two to faint. Im telling ya, try this. It feels great."
"Im not going to eat a human."
"Why not?"
"You wouldnt understand."
"Alright, more for me then."

Black dragons wont eat humans. They dont like the destructive behavior of the humans, but they recognize the achievements and advances of the race. They would like to work with the humans; learn their tech, help them improve, make them more environmentally friendly, and improve the relatonships between the dragons and humans. But with dragons and other preds eating them, its a bit difficult...
