Cute Design. You're very talented with a sewing machine, a needle and a creative design ^_^

I agree. Hand sewing feels better-it is very relaxing. I learned the basics of sewing from my grandma (who makes these gorgeous dolls!) and took to it when I was around ten. Sewing by hand makes the project feel personal and fills it with love

Yay! I'm glad you feel the same way! ^w^ It's rare to find someone who actually prefers hand sewing, hehe. How nice you could learn from your grandma, too! My grandma was always sewing, crocheting, quilting, or knitting when I was a kid, but I never took any interest in it. I was too busy running around outside or drawing *lol* I guess I just didn't have the patience, because I clearly remember going through a phase when I wanted to learn to make plushies when I was 6, but it never came to anything. It wasn't till my last year of college that I became fascinated with handmade plushies again and got brave enough to try it for myself. It's funny how the thing I had no interest in as a kid has become my career, while the thing I spent all my time doing (drawing) has taken a back seat/hobby role in my life. What a switcharoo, eh?

I'm fairly familiar with that set up actually. When I was little, drawing was my hobby and I was going to be a zoologist and work with animals, that took a switcheroo in my first year of high school and now I draw literally until my fingers have blisters and I'm busting my hump to get my artwork homework in on time.

Yup. Apparently I'm too stupid (for lack of a better word) in math to pursue a job in a science career. What numbers and formulas have to do with the study and betterment of animals, I'll never understand-But at least I had a fall back!

Ah, math is the bane of my existence, too! It was that and the required animal dissection in classes like anatomy that really turned me off of pursuing any type of science-related degree (which involves just about every 'working with animals' job out there.) It's really too bad. But yes, having a plan B is always good! :3 And if you still want to work with animals, volunteering at places like humane societies is a great way to do it. I used to volunteer with the bunnies and small animals at a humane society while I was a student. It was the best 2 hours of my day! ^w^

I can do the dissection if the animal died of natural causes or a disease and not for the sole purpose of the dissection itself. If it died so that I could cut it open-I find that morally and repugnantly wrong. Otherwise, I'll do it to get to know the body better in order to serve a living animal better. ( I wanted to study pachyderms, insects, great apes,Β reptilesΒ and arachnids.) Originally, my plan B was either Veterinary Technician or a novel writer. But my characters tend to be aΒ bit odd looking-so it'd be hard to get people invested in that without visual aid and....I couldn't possibly put down a family's beloved pet-that's the stuff of nightmares....so I guess this course is plan D x3

Much respect to you, then. I can't handle dissection for any reason. The idea of cutting a once living or still living thing just...unhinges me. Once I realized that, it was all over for veterinary or science pursuits for me. My high school got cats from the animal shelter for the anatomy class dissection. Every student got their own cat, and then the "group" dissection was a mother with kittens inside. When I found out about it, I refused to take the class. I know I couldn't handle putting down animals, either. That kind of soul-wrenching is just too much. ; w ;
There's nothing wrong with plan D! ^w^

Β ....that's awful...that's sick....CATS!? THAT'S SO SAD! AND THE HECK WITH A MAMA CAT?! I couldn't do it...not that....why?! why aΒ cat?! Frogs and already dead body parts, okay-but cats?! that's so messed up!
