The caliber of round fired by the M1911 is (generally, but not in all cases) .45 ACP. Though you can also find them chambered in 9mm Parabellum and even .22 LR.

I meant what is its manufacturer.
Another caliber is the .38 Super Automatic, the preferred caliber of John Dillinger because it pierced body armor while the .45 ACP did not.
