Alright it is the first time I submit something in the "pixel art" gallery!!I actually started playing Castlevania series, for now I'm on Symphony Of The Night, it seems to be my favourite one! It's strange to play Alucard, it is... Uncommon XD
So, I decided to represent the traditional final scene where Simon defeats Dracula, of course!
The background is 100% homemade, and I redrew Dracula's sprite, it took me centuries X.X
I liked the original Simon's sprite, so I decided to rework it for a better render.

None, this background is 100% homemade, you'll never see it on any game station
But it does remember old school Castlevania series like Bloodlines^^

simon and dracula both look really great here. I ecspecially like the banister at the top with the silhouette of dracs castle

I've never played Castlevania, but I know two things.
1) Drawing a background for gaming sprites can be almost as tiring or even more so, than the actual characters.
2) People who work in MS Paint deserve utmost admiration.
That said, this background is amazing. The small landscape in the upper left corner, the two faces and the candles look so well done as if they were part of the original game. Respect for that.

Ow yes, sorry! I used an existing Simon's sprite, and I adjusted it for a better render, I redrew the hair and face, and his legs, but I just modified the original one

Aaaah merci!!! Je flippais un peu, je ne savais pas du tout ce que ça allait donner, je suis content de voir que ça a l'air potable pour un premier résultat^^
J'ai utilisé une référence pour Dracula, bon je l'ai entierement refait mais sa position a été copiée sur un autre sprite, pareil pour Simon (je suis assez puriste^^). Par contre le background est 100% perso!

Pff j'ai un ami (celui avec que je fais le jeu video d'ailleurs) qui a subitement voulu jouer à Castlevania, et qui en a terminé 13 en 2 mois (non je me suis pas planté de chiffres XD) et qui disait qu'effectivement Aria of Sorrow était vraiment excellent^^

Trevor, Simon, and Richter...miss those guys. Castlevania isn't the same without the original heroes of the Belmont clan.
