So for the third challenge on Face Off, the contestants had to team up and create a Chinese Dragon/Zodiac Animals hybrid. The animals were of the contestants' own year, so they each had to put theirs in part of the design (two total).I was bored and decided to make my own hybrid between a dragon and my zodiac animal, the goat. Of course, I made it like a traditional Godzilla-style monster (shocker). He's got a bit of a demon-looking vibe, but I enjoy it.

Thanks! Face Off is a reality/game-show TV series on the SyFy channel. Contestants are prosthetic make-up artists that want to get out there in the world and strike gold. Each week, they have a challenge central to the entire episode where the contestants compete to create the best character. These challenges have special themes involved, with the one this picture is based off of being a Chinese New Year Dragon challenge. I highly recommend the show to anyone who is a fan of science fiction and art.

When do new episodes premiere? I remember seeing previews of that show but forgot all about it. You know because of school and what not.
Also im going to design a boar dragon. Because a) i was inspired here and b) i need to figure out how to successfully combine two creatures.

New episodes are on Tuesdays at 9pm EST. I recommend checking the other episodes first, as that will let you see just how good everyone is. As for the boar dragon, go for it! One of the dragons had boar and monkey mixed in with it. It didn't do very well, so I'd look forward to seeing a successful take on it.

Very cool mix this is. Love the goat/dragon face, with the sideways goat pupils. Love it!
