Metroid Fan Art. Pencil shading and Ink.

I created this piece on a thicker sketch paper. I used a bowl to make a sort of circle and shaped from there. I covered the Metroid with tape so I could color in the background without ruining the Metroid. This was made for my portfolio submission for school and I think it took about three or four hours? I think at most it would've taken eight. Speed is unfortunately not my strong suit. I'm hoping though with time it will be. Thanks guys!
