I've been a member of DA for well over a year and have looked, sometimes for hours at a time, for a tutorial that explains the absolute *basics* about how to make a journal skin. I never found one. I never dreamed that to extend a skin it would be in expandable pieces, but this makes so much sense now I've seen it!!!
Thank you so much. I can't wait to go look at your other tutorials now. Thank you again!!!

What a perfect tutorial. I'm teaching CSS over at #eCSSercise and have tried to make a cohesive explanation... It really is hard to put into words. And the image tutorial I made didn't really say that. I would like to use you and your CSS gallery as an example to my Students as to designing a journal skin as an aesthetic piece of art in itself. Opposed to the millions of skins out there with an artwork slapped on. Your work is brilliant!

It definitely is. I think after I collect quite a bit of "example" journals and such, I'll write a News article on it ;D

GREAT design. A project I know nothing about doing, but would like to learn someday. I really like your work!
